Hannah Kerwin
Hannah captures the transient nature of light, using the transparent nature of oils to reproduce the moments of light changing. Whether it is the wonder of the day’s first rays of light or the rich lowering light of the evening. Days spent walking and camping out, provide the inspiration and the scenes captured in her paintings.
Hannah’s paintings depict the moorlands, woods and rivers, often close to her home in West Yorkshire. “I want to capture and reveal the timeless, yet fleeting glimpses of a magical stillness”.
